The mission of OLLiMPIA is simple: putting the I into LLM.
Large Language Models have transformed how we interact with technology. But most people access these models through cloud services controlled by large corporations. OLLiMPIA exists to show you how to take back control.

The Name
OLLiMPIA references the automaton character from E.T.A. Hoffmann’s short story “The Sandman”. In the story, Olimpia appears human but is actually a mechanical construct—a fitting metaphor for AI systems that mimic human intelligence.
The name also plays on the Olympic spirit: bringing power and capability to individuals, not just institutions.
